Sarah has not let Him down.
I came into her life in early 1999 when she was 4 1/2 years old. Circumstances in her and her brothers lives called for her Dad to find live in help for the three of them. I came to live with them as the “nanny”. God made us a family. Her Dad is truly my brother. Sarah and her brothers started calling me Mom just a few months after coming there to live. The honor they gave me is something I will be eternally grateful for. Not having a husband or family of my own ever, I was given a brother and three beautiful children. Her father’s parents took me in as their own and to this day they are my parents as much as my own are.
Getting back to Sarah… this year has been such a wonderful year with her. Sarah moved to Wisconsin on June 14, 2012 and loves it dearly. Dad and family came for her graduation in June (more of that in another post this week) Today we arecelebrating her as she will leave us August 13th until January. (more about that in post this week) for now a big Happy Birthday as we do something everyday this week here in beautiful Wisconsin.
We are blessed to live in a place that gives us so many wonderful things to do without spending any money! Freebies from so many local merchants! A swim in a beautiful and clean lake, going on a tour of a dairy farm with free cheese curds, ice cream and a chance to milk those MooMoo’s! Most of all a beautiful hike up the glacier trail to sit at sunset and take photos. So you see, birthdays are about being together enjoying God’s creation!
Happy Birthday @CatholicTeen! All my love and best wishes for another great year in the life God gave you.
