Ecce Homo - Behold the Man

There is perhaps no greater truth that I have learned since becoming a Catholic eighteen years ago than that our sufferings here on earth are redemptive in nature due to the Incarnation, wherein God united Himself with mankind, and due to His Suffering, Death and Resurrection…because suffering is indeed a part of my life. If I did not know this truth, I would likely have committed suicide by now. As it stands, I understand that it is all for a holy purpose.
